L.J  Entertainments  was  originally  founded  by  Robert  McGuigan (pictured top right),  who  worked  as  a  Comedy  Vocalist  in  the  late  70’s  through  to  the  late nineties  performing  in  clubs  both  here  and  abroad  and  also  Theatre tours throughout the UK.  Known as a big man with a big voice Robert picked up the stage name Little John and  decided  to  apply  his  knowledge  gained  through  a  successful stage career to the business of booking and supplying artistes eventually  becoming  a  respected  Agent  in  the  Northwest area.

 

In 2000 Shaun joined the Agency first as an act and then into the office, eventually taking over the reigns of the Company in 2008.

 

Sadly Robert passed away in 2009 and although he is still sorely missed, the principles of decency, honesty and integrity within the business are still applied to all areas of the company today, as well as the guiding aim of providing some of the best entertainment available and going the extra mile to make sure your event is a success.
